Our Impact
For 25 years, Highett Community Bank has supported the volunteers and organisations that form the fabric of our community. The profit-for-purpose model is powerful returning $3.95 million back to local projects and organisations.
Bank with Us ➡️ Profits stay Local ➡️ Community Funding
It is only through the unique community banking model that supports up to 80% of profits being reinvested into the community that makes it work. By returning profits to local projects, clubs and groups, the customers who choose to bank with us help strengthen the services and facilities that matter most. Our unique model means every dollar invested goes back into supporting the people and places that make our region thrive.
Together, we continue to build a resilient, connected community where everyone benefits.

Strengthening Community Through Grassroots Sport
Our longstanding partnership with the Highett Football Netball Club supports more than 350 players and families, helping ensure local sport remains accessible, inclusive, and community-focused. Funding assists with essential equipment, uniforms, and programs that allow players of all ages to participate in a positive and supportive environment.

Building Inclusion and Confidence Through Community Participation
Our support for the Bayside Toy Library is helping expand its Disability Inclusion in Volunteering program, creating meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to gain practical work experience. Participants develop skills in communication, teamwork, and customer service while contributing to a welcoming community environment.

Empowering Young People Through Outdoor Adventure
Our funding support for Holloway Bend Scouts ensures every Cub has the opportunity to participate in camping and outdoor adventures that build resilience, teamwork, and confidence. As the group continues to grow, additional equipment helps ensure all members can safely take part in camps, hikes, and the statewide Cuboree experience.

Creating Safe Spaces for Healing and Connection
Our long-term partnership with Windana supports vulnerable young people through the Youth Community Studio at the Moorabbin Youth Hub. This free weekly art therapy program offers a safe and welcoming space where young people facing complex challenges can express themselves, build confidence, and form positive social connections.

Opening the Door to Sport for Every Child
Our support for TeamSports4All is helping ensure every child has the chance to play sport, regardless of financial circumstances. By removing barriers such as registration costs, uniforms, and equipment, this initiative enables local children to join their peers, build friendships, and experience the joy and confidence that comes from being part of a team.

Celebrating Local Pride and Community Connection
Our ongoing support of the Highett Traders Association reflects a shared story that began 25 years ago, when the Community Bank was born from the Association itself. Today, we are proud to support its reinvigoration and the initiatives that bring energy and connection back to the heart of Highett. Events like Tastes & Tunes transform the streets into a vibrant community celebration, drawing thousands of locals together to enjoy live music, great food, and the unique spirit of the neighbourhood.
